Fact: I sometimes wear mens clothing.

oversized jersey beanie, Padded nylon backpack, Army shoulder bag, Six scents #4

Am I becoming and ALT bro or something? Recently most of my inspirations are being driven by unisex/male clothing, with the oversize-ness and all. Of course I'll add my feminine touches here and there, but my outfits are being centered around mens clothing. I've been enjoying some semi ugly but beautiful man bags (guilty pleasure?). Been obsessed with beanies and I think I've found THE perfect one. I've been needing some new scents, desperate for out of the ordinary rings, and wouldn't mind a black pair of my favorite combat boots. On another note, has anyone else noticed the mass postage of skull rings recently? Dr Martens 1460 classic, Margiela nail ring, fingerless gloves
I need you back in my life!

Need of the moment: I recently washed my clothes and my iphone after reluctantly forgetting I had left it in my pant pocket. Why don't I just wear leggings from now on...? I need to buy another one since there seems to be no way in hell that it's going to revive itself.

Abstract

I'm currently (obsessively, I must say) adding atypical additions to my closet. I fear that this year I've been playing it too safe. Could this be an early new years resolution? Ok, well who does those anyway? I adore abnormal above all, tasteful clothing. The most brilliant thing about dressing like a madman is that it often teeters on the edge bad taste. Making it a challenge to the wearer to pull off and to others around to grasp. It invites wearers to expand their horizons, develop personality's and adopt playful attitudes towards dress, to experiment with strange or sexually charged looks instead of the mundane.

An obvious choice: black square hood t
One of many inspirations for the way I dress stems from mens wear. So of course when I came upon this person on LOOKBOOK.nu I nearly gutted myself. I mean, how inspirational is that? It's about time I find something to occupy me during the holiday. I have to do some half assed attempt at that cut up shirt and 'fake' chanel shirt of his. Ah, what a dead brilliant boy.

I can not seem to find a good picture so I'm giving in. I love draped clothing for one thing. The American Apparel circle scarf (I thoroughly love mine) is something lovely that's also versatile. You can wear it 12 different ways as instructed on americanapparel.net You can find some more ways to wear it on everybodyisugly on chictopia here

It's the holidays, I'm M.I.A., Most of my babies are M.I.A., It's cold, and I miss all of you babygirls. When I find the time I'll get to doing every one of those tags.

Need of the moment:
(Steve Madden Ginn heels $99-71)

I've recently been eyeing the givenchy gladiator heels in black, but I can't seem to find them anywhere T_T. So I've given in and just now bought a perfect pair by the king of copycat Steve Madden. It's on sale for the holidays for $99 + s&h and with my discount code for $71 total (ask me for the code if your interested)! Normally, when I think of replica designer items, china town LV and chanel purses come to mind -_-... (not a lovely thought) but anything for a shoe right? I've never really adored the asthestic of gladiator boots but these heels are to DIE for. You can view how amazing they look on Camille of childhoodflames here.

He took my heart, I think he took my soul.

To clarify this post is on the aesthetic genious of a man.
Sometimes, given the time and the place a man can be the closest thing to physical art. No, my perception on male beauty is not muscle bound and this isn't about finding the most compatible, reliable, and kindest person you can and calling it 'inner' beauty. This is something new and old. The untimely beauty of the male gender we're sometimes too stupid to notice.
It's when you find yourself unable to concentrate on anything else but his actions however small they maybe. Those actions could be expressions, gestures, or the tone of his voice. In all honesty sometimes it's not even about what he says. He could be saying nothing at all but it's the soft unintentional noises that could drive you insane. The rhythm in the way he breathes, a simple scuffle of his shoes on the pavement, or the sounds of his clothes rustling against itself those are some sounds that could drive you insane. You can even find beauty in a somewhat inappropriate time. When he stares vaguely at you/nothing and sips his drink while notibly being so tired. When he sits there reluctant, feeling frustrated/angry he pinches his forehead amidst the anguish and grief. The times when he's hurt or confused, things become deafeningly silent. Those are some inappropriately beautiful situations that can remind you of his humanity. Physical anomalies that can be attributed to his beauty are not only the basics of what you're accustomed to. The size and weariness of his hands, his unkept hair, his unshaven stubble, and the sutle shape of his lips are things we often overlook. Somethings are all too perfect to explain. This was all about realizing what was already there that even men don't realize themselves. Perhaps this is the epitome of vanity and selfishness, solely basing male beauty on the outer layer of perception and thought, but this IS after all a fashion blog. Any how, the simplest things, those are the concepts that remind you that life is not too complex after all you've just found happiness in the form of a man (yours or not) where else could you find it?

P.S. As you can tell by now I'm a hopeless romantic. Most of the inspiration for "they breathe fire" and this piece derive from my boyfriend, who is the most brilliant man I've ever known. Also babies, I want to thank you all for contributing your thoughts to my blog. Lately, I've been discouraged about continuing this project but each time someone new/old re-establishes my ambitions so thank you with my deepest sincerity's. Currently I am revising some of my earlier posts because I feel they are dry. On an added note, I am trying to reply to everyone as soon as I can ♥
